Calculate BMR and TDEE for weight management
What is BMR and TDEE?
Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is the number of calories your body needs to perform basic life-sustaining functions. Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) is the total calories burned in a day including activity.
Formula Used
This calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation, considered the most accurate BMR formula:
- Men: BMR = 10 × weight(kg) + 6.25 × height(cm) - 5 × age(y) + 5
- Women: BMR = 10 × weight(kg) + 6.25 × height(cm) - 5 × age(y) - 161
TDEE = BMR × Activity Factor
When to Use This Calculator
